Esk Rover Crew

Home Point Parade, Launceston

Founded in 2010, Esk Rover Crew (formerly Tamar Rover Crew) is one of two Rover crews that is part of a parent group, ours being 1st Tamar Sea Scout Group. This also allows us to be Sea Rovers with access to patrol boats, dinghies and all the traditional Scouting activities.

Our members come from a range of backgrounds. We take pride in offering a service to the group and the district by regularly participating in meeting nights and events with other sections of the 1st Tamar Sea Scouts and other groups in the area, fundraising for scouting and non-scouting events and other events whether it may be a day activity or weekend camp.

Some of our favourite pastimes include 4 wheel driving, bushwalking, camping, cooking, boating, creative nights such as board games, sewing, constructing, as well as improving our group skill set in team building nights.

For anybody wishing to come along to check us out, we meet on a Tuesday night from 7pm at the 1st Tamar Sea Scout Hall at the end of Home Point Parade in the city of Launceston. You can also contact us via our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/eskrovercrew or at eskrovercrew@gmail.com, we look forward to seeing you!
