Kingborough Rover Crew

Kingborough Rover Crew (KRC) is based in Kingston and are a section of the Kingston Sea Scout Group. We have members with ages from 18 to 25, anyone can join us - even for those who haven't been a part scouting before.
We are a section of the Kingston Sea Scout Group, KRC has access to patrol boats for rowing and sailing, and kayaks. The crew also own a 24 foot Yacht ‘The J’, a J24 formerly known as 'Drumbeat'. We also have a focus on service to the crew, scouting and the wider community.
KRC are highly involved in water activities, as well as general nights hanging out as a crew at the Den. Some activities we have done are:
· Quiz nights
· Food challengers
· Board games nights
· Twilight Sailing
· Overnight sailing trips
· Car rallies (of the question and answer variety)
· Hiking
· Camping
We meet most weeks on Tuesday nights from 7 pm with a varied program which has activities in our Den as well as activities in the local area, and across the City of Hobart.
'The Den' is located at the 1st Kingston Scout Hall on Kingston View Drive.
