Mt Faulkner Rover Crew

Mt Faulkner Rover Crew takes in Rovers from Hobart's northern suburbs and surrounding areas. We meet on Tuesdays at the Mt Faulkner Scout Hall in Austins Ferry. Originally founded in 1980, the Crew was refounded in 2024 after being in purgatory since 2020-ish.

Historically, we have had a great record of supporting all state-wide and many national Scouting events and activities and a great passion for outdoor pursuits such as bushwalking and 4-wheel driving. MFRC also considers 'Service' to both Scouting and the local communities very strongly in our busy and active program. For over 25 years we were the only crew in Tasmania to have regularly entered a buggy in the annual Victoria Rover event 'Mudbash'. Unfortunately the Crew has been dealt a blow when our Den and our beloved buggy 'Sickness Benefits' was destroyed by fire in April 2011.
