Leven District Rover Crew

The Leven District Rover Crew was founded in 1972, and has since then made a strong mark not only in the Leven District but the North Western area of Tassie. We are based in Penguin and are currently the only Rover Crew in the North West of the state, meaning that members travel far and wide to participate in activities. Like many crews in the state, we aren’t attached to a single Scout group, but a district, so our members have a range of backgrounds and experience within Scouting. Despite this, we always welcome new members from outside the Scouting movement with open arms. 

We take pride in offering a service to Leven and neighbouring districts by participating in, and organising activities for Scout groups across the coast. As a crew, we enjoy a broad range of activities, from sailing to 4WDing, camping and many other endeavours.

We’d love to meet you at the Leven Rovers! We generally meet on Monday nights at the Leven Rover Den, Johnsons Beach Rd, Penguin TAS 7316.
